Who is this adorable little gentleman?? That’s my buddy Gordy. We had the best time capturing all these sweet photos recently during his cake smash session to celebrate the big O N E.

To start things off we got some pictures of Gordy in his Oklahoma City Thunder Jersey. His birthday party was basketball themed so naturally he had to show me some of his basketball skills with his tiny OKC basketball.

Between outfits we got some of his best friends together for a few sweet shots of him in his birthday suit. So stinkin cute!! He may have peed on the floor right after this but hey… I think it was worth it for all this cuteness. These are the kinds of photos mom and dad will bring out to show his future spouse. You’re welcome Gordy!

He was such a good sport for these portraits. Lots of clapping and big smiles made for so many cute shots it was hard to narrow them down. He had just started walking not long before our session too so he was enjoying exploring all the fun colorful things in the background. I can’t blame him! Who can resist those balloons? It goes without saying that the “Birthday Boy” shirt and those precious Toy Story shoes mom picked out went perfectly with them.

We saved the cake smash for last. This was his first time having cake. Lots of babies aren’t big on digging in and getting their hands dirty but Gordy loved it. He went straight for it. He even made sure we knew just how delicious it was saying, “Mmmm!”. Such a big boy! He’s got so much personality. I can only imagine how much fun it’s going to be when he’s carrying on conversation with everyone. His new little sibling that’s on the way is going to have such a good big brother!
